Mission Statement: The Anglican Parish of St. Mark & St. Philip seeks to encourage people in their faith and in their calling.

"While Christian meditation has been a practice and resource in monasteries for centuries, current research supports its benefits for health. Meditation nourishes mind, body, and spirit. We become more observant and aware of our thoughts and can make changes, if so desired. Practice helps develop focus which is a resource in stressful times. Pulse rate and blood pressure can be reduced. Clarity, connection, and unity can be experienced.
Within our group at St. Mark and St. Philip, members have experienced improved sleep, a sense of enhanced wellness, and a sense of community."
[John] Cage understood how the unexpected action of deep listening can create a space of transformation capable of shattering complacency and despair. He bravely called for silence as an intentional stillness that could infiltrate our imaginations: "Then we should be capable of answering the question, 'What ought we to do.'"
