Bible Study
Catechism Course
Catechism is a Greek word meaning “to sound down”. It has traditionally referenced a question and answer format for learning the faith of the church. This is a good course for any who want to renew their understanding of the teachings of the church, but is offered in a more contemporary way in which we “wrestle” with the questions and what they mean for us (individually and corporately) so that we develop a faith that we can declare as our own. This will be offered on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 10:15 AM beginning on September 11th 2011. Introduction to the Old Testament Course
Introduction to the Old Testament will follow the curriculum guide for training of Lay Readers in the Diocese of Calgary. This is the first of four courses and we will work through this course as a book study, meeting on the first Tuesday of the month from 7 – 9 PM (September 2011 through June 2012).
